The mission part of the game consists of 16 different levels all in all the tournament part of the game consists of 10 different levels chosen at random and both types of games includes more than 50 different monsters, roughly about 150 spells to choose from, 6 different types of characters to play, several hundred different items including magical ones, 15 assorted tunes to hear at different stages in the game, and for the CD-version several hundred ray-traced items to gawk at while you're equipping your characters, and last but not least hopefully loads of fun for the players!
. The game is seen from an eagle's point of view in 2D and is controlled entirely by the mouse apart from the section where you have to write your character's names. Everything happens in turns so if you run out of action points, a certain amount each and every character gets in the beginning of his turn, and a guy sneaks up on you, you're in a lot of trouble as you are forced to see him finish his turn and wait for your own. On the other hand if you were smart enough to save some, you'll get the chance to counteract before he can do anything, it sort of symbolizes a state of being paranoid, on your toes all the time. As with any game with its roots in role-playing this one also has the standard stats of strength, dexterity, constitution, intelligence, speed, wisdom and so forth. On the status-screen they're given two numbers for each ability as well as for load, level ...... of which the first one is your maximum and the second the actual value at this point. Naturally, the game is filled to the brim with magical items, both good and bad, for the characters to play with as well as teleporters, secret doors, traps, secret missions and tons more, but you'll see it once it gets out in the shops around Christmas, unless you want to take a peak at the files included.
